POTCHEFSTROOM ACADEMY IMMORTALISES CULTURAL IMAGES IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

The Potchefstroom Academy's Department of Interior Design and Décor sent 17 of its students and personnel to the Satara restcamp's day-visitors area in the Kruger National Park. Their goal: to immortalise beautiful cultural images for the Kruger National Park. The project is the brainchild of the Bankenveld Honorory Gamerangers who invited the Interior Department to do some research and utilize their talents and skills to create an awe-inspiring mural. The excited team left early on Sunday morning 3 July and created an astonishing 10 murals within 5 days. Cultural images of Swazi; Tsonga; Venda; Zoeloe and Voortrekker origin now tells a tale of a rich cultural heritage on these murals. The team's progress was followed by curious tourists and personnel who thoroughly enjoyed the end result. For many students, this was their first visit to the Kruger National Park and certainly a memorable one.
